Vanessa previously worked with the Philippine Daily Inquirer as an editorial production assistant until 2025. She was also a regular contributor to the publication’s business section as a feature writer, focusing on topics such as entrepreneurship, technology and environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. She holds a Bachelor of Communication degree in media production from Assumption College.
