Insider Spotlight
Curated by gallery directors Isa Lorenzo and Rachel Rillo, the presentation is organized around History and Identity, Dreams and Celestials, Surface Tension, Roots and Reefs, Games, and Painter’s Paintings.
The selections place artists from different generations and geographies in conversation, foregrounding how memory, material, and lived experience continue to shape artistic practice.
The exhibitions will be on view from Feb. 6 to 8, 2026 across two locations: Art Fair Philippines at the Circuit Makati and the Silverlens Den. Installed across both sites, the presentation shifts between the scale of a major art fair and the intimacy of a gallery setting, offering audiences multiple entry points into the works.
Why it matters
Art fairs are increasingly serving as curatorial platforms rather than purely commercial ones. Silverlens’ approach reflects this shift, using structure and scale to extend its program beyond a single booth.
Midway through the details, the gallery said in a press statement that the dual-site format was conceived to encourage deeper engagement with the artists’ practices while remaining accessible during the fair.

Go deeper
Silverlens is located at Booth No. 4 on the seventh floor of Circuit Corporate Center One. As part of ArtFairPH/Projects, two special exhibitions— “A Votary’s Art" by Imelda Cajipe Endaya and "Intersect” by Jon and Tessy Pettyjohn—will be presented on the sixth floor of the same building.
Concurrent exhibitions include “Imelda Cajipe Endaya: Kahapon Muli Bukas and Lou Lim: Merging” at Silverlens Gallery through February 14, 2026, and “Stephanie Syjuco: Inherent Vice” at Ayala Museum through Feb. 22, 2026. These coincide with Art Gallery Weekend from Jan. 30 to Feb. 8, 2026.
The bottom line
By spreading its presentation across multiple sites and curatorial threads, Silverlens positions its Art Fair Philippines 2026 showing as both a market-facing display and a broader curatorial statement during Manila’s busiest art week. — Princess Daisy C. Ominga | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
