San Miguel & DOST Boost NutriBun's Nutrition for Kids

San Miguel Foods has teamed up with the Department of Science and Technology's Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI) to enhance the formulation of NutriBun bread, ensuring it meets nutritional needs of underprivileged children in government feeding programs.

This partnership, marked by a memorandum of agreement, aims to standardize the NutriBun to combat malnutrition and stunting across vulnerable communities.

San Miguel said it will leverage its technical expertise and production capabilities, alongside DOST-FNRI's research, to deliver nutrient-packed bread with consistent nutritional value.

The company said this collaboration underscores the commitment of both entities to improve child health nationwide, combining science and production for social good.
