The workers’ union at PLDT, Manggagagawa sa Komunikasyon ng Pilipinas, has initiated the process for a potential strike by submitting strike vote results to the National Conciliation and Mediation Board, triggering a mandatory seven-day strike ban.

“PLDT is working with MKP and the Department of Labor and Employment to swiftly conclude the CBA negotiations while adhering to industry standards,” PLDT said on Friday.

“We are prepared to manage any contingencies, ensuring uninterrupted and high-quality service to our subscribers,” it added.

The telco giant reassured subscribers that operations are unaffected and remains committed to delivering high-quality service.
