  • Megaworld makes the Philippines’ Best Employers list for the third consecutive year and fourth time overall.
  • The property developer is among 300 companies selected from approximately 4,000 eligible employers nationwide.
  • Megaworld also reports a record 97 percent Great Place to Work rating, up from 94 percent last year.

Property developer Megaworld Corp. has been included in the Philippines’ Best Employers 2027 ranking, marking its third consecutive appearance on the list compiled by the Philippine Daily Inquirer and research firm Statista.

The Andrew Tan-founded company was among 300 employers selected from about 4,000 eligible organizations nationwide with at least 250 employees. The latest inclusion marks Megaworld’s fourth appearance on the list overall.

Workplace assessment

According to a company statement, it received high scores for employee welfare, career development opportunities, diversity and workplace culture. The 2027 assessment also placed greater emphasis on how companies integrate artificial intelligence into their operations.

The ranking recognizes employers based on workplace-related assessments. Megaworld’s announcement did not specify its exact placement or individual scores in the latest ranking.

Other recognition

The latest ranking follows several other workplace awards received by the property developer this year. Megaworld was included in the Circle of Excellence for Top Employer of the Year at the Asia CEO Awards 2026, which recognizes workforce management and talent development practices.

The company also received the Inspiring Workplaces in Asia award at the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability Awards held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

“These recognitions reflect our continued commitment to create a workplace where our people feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow,” Megaworld president and CEO Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso said.

Employee feedback

Megaworld reported a 97 percent rating in its latest Great Place to Work certification, up from 94 percent a year earlier. The company said the result was based on employee feedback about trust, inclusivity, professional development and workplace pride.

The developer was also included in TIME’s World’s Best Companies in Asia-Pacific ranking, produced with Statista, where it placed 309th overall and recorded the region’s 26th-highest employee satisfaction rating. That ranking measures employee satisfaction, financial performance and sustainability.

Separately, Megaworld said it was the only Philippine real estate company included in the inaugural Fortune Asia 100 Best Companies to Work For in Southeast Asia, alongside five other companies from the Philippines.

The distinctions use different assessment criteria, covering employee satisfaction, workplace policies, workforce development and broader corporate performance.
