Young hotelier leads revival of landmark Olongapo hotel

Entering the hotel business is not for the faint of heart. Acquiring, renovating, then running a derelict hotel property is even more daunting. But that’s exactly what Juan Jose “Juan Jo” Sanco had to face when his father, Bong, bought the circa-1970s Marmont Hotel in Barrio Barretto, Olongapo City, in 2011.
