Insiders revealed that Tan, who personally handed over the keys to the three-bedroom McKinley Hill unit to Yulo on Wednesday, had one more surprise for the young gymnast: he graciously offered to cover the condo dues for an entire year.
It turns out winning an address in McKinley Hill, developed by Tan's Megaworld Corp., was a dream come true of sorts for Yulo.
Yulo shared with an insider that even before the games in Paris, he was looking for a place to live near Bonifacio Global City. He explored options in areas like McKinley Hill but found the prices too high.
Eventually, he settled for a more affordable rental unit in Las Piñas, just before making history in the Olympics.
The location of Yulo’s new home remains a secret to protect his privacy.
Megaworld’s in-house design team led the effort, completing the setup in just six days to ensure everything was perfect for Yulo’s arrival.
We’re told he will be spending the night in McKinley Hill for a much-deserved rest.
