Philippine Airlines (PAL) strongly refutes recent social media claims of a data breach involving communications with Clark International Airport.

“In response to reports circulating on social media about a possible data breach involving communications between Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Clark International Airport, we want to assure our customers that our preliminary investigation indicates these claims are false,” Philippine Airlines said in a statement on Wednesday.

“The personal information of our customers remains secure and uncompromised. The security and reliability of our systems are our top priorities,” the flag carrier added.

PAL said it will pursue legal action against those spreading misinformation.
