Yulo received a P32-million fully-furnished three-bedroom condo, along with P3-million in cash as a reward.
Tycoon Kevin Tan personally turns over unit and cash
Kevin L. Tan, CEO of Megaworld’s parent firm, Alliance Global Group.,, and Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso, president of Megaworld, handed over the condo keys and a cheque to Carlos Yulo.
They also gifted him a special artwork depicting Yulo, his Olympic gymnastics form, and McKinley Hill’s Venice Grand Canal.
“Together with the rest of the nation, we thank Carlos for giving us so much pride as he showcased to the world the best of the Filipinos’ competitive spirit,” Tan said.
“We recognize his passion and dedication to excellence, and we take pride in welcoming another Olympic champion in our Megaworld township, just like how we celebrated and welcomed Hidilyn Diaz in Eastwood City when she won the Philippines’ first-ever Olympic gold medal in Tokyo, Japan back in 2021,” he added.
Custom furniture, gold accents
The condo features modern design elements with gold accents inspired by Yulo’s medals.
It includes appliances like a refrigerator, microwave, oven, washer and dryer, and smart TVs.
The living room features a custom coffee table with a replica of Yulo’s Olympic medal, and the dining area has a versatile table for six to eight people. The condo also includes a gallery with framed articles celebrating Yulo’s Olympic achievements.
There are two balconies with views of the township, accessible from the living room and master bedroom.
