The brand, known for its meticulous 15-step and 18-step scalp treatments, has established itself as a leader in Korean scalp care, drawing global clientele to its salons in Seoul.
Eco Jardin’s arrival in the Philippines marks the beginning of its global expansion, bringing the expertise of Korean scalp health specialists to a new market. The brand’s treatments are designed to improve scalp health, promote relaxation, and cater to individuals dealing with concerns such as dandruff, dryness, or hair thinning.
Passion for beauty and wellness
Eco Jardin Philippines was brought to the country by six friends who share a passion for travel and wellness. Their frequent visits to Korea introduced them to the brand, and after experiencing its services firsthand, they saw an opportunity to bring the concept to Manila.
The franchise was brought to the Philippines by Converge ICT co-founder and president Grace Uy, Euroasia Marble & Granite co-founder and president Mary Grace Lam, Philman Group director Ingrid Tan, and businesswomen Rottina Lim, Mary Jane Uy, and Angeline Tan.
“We couldn’t stop thinking about it,” said Eco Jardin Philippines managing director Mary Jane Uy. “After trying it once, we found ourselves booking appointments every time we went back. That’s when we knew this was something special.”
The decision to secure the franchise came from a desire to introduce high-quality scalp care to Filipinos. With an increasing interest in self-care and wellness in the local market, the founders believe Eco Jardin’s treatments will resonate with customers looking for an elevated beauty experience.
The gold standard in scalp care
Eco Jardin has been a pioneer in Korean scalp care for over five decades, gaining a reputation as a leading expert in the industry. The brand’s signature scalp treatments are designed to cleanse, nourish, and restore scalp health through a multi-step process.
The 15-step treatment focuses on regular maintenance, while the more intensive 18-step treatment targets scalp concerns such as dryness, dandruff, and hair thinning. Each session includes scalp analysis, specialized serums, and massage techniques to promote circulation and hair growth.
“In Korea, regular scalp treatments are part of people’s beauty routine, even for men,” Uy noted. “We saw how ingrained it is in their culture and knew it was time to bring this level of care to Manila.”
Strategic move for global expansion
Founded in 2016 under P&J Corporation, Eco Jardin was developed with the philosophy of merging beauty with holistic wellness. Its founder and chair, Park Jun, emphasized the brand’s mission of creating a relaxing, healing environment for clients.
“Beauty is about more than looking good—it’s about feeling good,” Park said. “Eco Jardin embodies this philosophy, creating an urban retreat where people can relax, enhance their style, and embrace a more beautiful and enjoyable life.”
The decision to open the first international branch in the Philippines was a strategic one. Eco Jardin president Jan Won highlighted the country’s potential as a hub for international business, given its English-speaking population and strong tourism industry.
“The Philippines is uniquely positioned for global expansion,” he explained. “With a predominantly English-speaking population and its status as a major international tourist destination, it has the potential to become a key hub for global business.”
Eco Jardin Philippines aims to maintain the same premium standards as its Korean counterpart, ensuring expert techniques, personalized consultations, and high-quality products. The BGC location will serve as a flagship branch for future expansion in Southeast Asia.
Located on the second floor of High Street South Corporate Plaza, 26th Street, BGC, Taguig City, Eco Jardin Philippines is now open to serve customers seeking a luxurious scalp care experience. More information can be found at ecojardin.com.ph.
