Located in one of Metro Manila’s most accessible shopping centers, the upgraded facility is designed to improve the delivery of passport and consular services. The expansion offers a significantly larger and more efficient space, enabling the office to serve a higher volume of applicants daily with enhanced convenience and comfort.

“The opening of DFA NCR Central office at Robinsons Galleria is part of DFA’s ongoing initiative to improve service quality and workplace conditions,” said Assistant Secretary Ma. Antonina M. Mendoza-Oblena of the DFA Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) during the launch event. “Having our offices at convenient locations like Robinsons Malls helps improve employee welfare and public satisfaction.”

The inauguration was attended by officials from both the government and the private sector. Key attendees included Quezon City 3rd District Representative Franz S. Pumaren, Vice Mayor Gian Carlo G. Sotto, DFA COCD Acting Director Atty. Manuel C. Ayap, and DFA NCR Central head Maria Luisa L. Remulla. Representing RLC were Joel S. Lumanlan, vice president for operations and marketing; Irving L. Wu, external affairs director; and Atty. Jose Luis Aliling, corporate affairs director.

On its first day of operations, the DFA NCR Central Office processed over 115 passport applications. The initiative in Quezon City follows the recent expansion of the DFA Consular Office at Robinsons GenSan, which served 291 applicants on its opening day.
