AG&P Industrial, a Philippine-based engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction firm, has successfully completed the first module for Ampol’s Future Fuels Gasoline Desulphurization Project at the Lytton refinery in Brisbane, Australia.

In a statement, AG&P said the module, shipped from its advanced fabrication yard in Batangas, is the first of four scheduled shipments designed to help the refinery meet stringent new emissions standards.

In collaboration with Kent PLC, AG&P is responsible for manufacturing process and pipe rack modules as well as pre-assembled support structures.

The project aims to lower the refinery’s fuel emissions to comply with the Australian government’s Euro 6 sulphur emissions legislation, which mandates a sulphur content of less than 10 parts per million in all fuels by 2025.

AG&P’s scope includes detailed shop drawings, procurement, and the fabrication of 20 pre-assembled pipe racks, 16 pre-assembled units, and 29 pre-assembled support structures.

The project is expected to be completed by February 2025.

Alex Gamboa, president of global business development at AG&P, highlighted the milestone as a testament to the company's expertise and commitment to advancing clean energy and sustainable industrial solutions globally.
