Whoopsie: Shell penalized by SEC for late quarterly report submission

Shell Pilipinas Corp. said on Wednesday that it was penalized P55,700 by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for missing the deadline to submit its quarterly report for the period ending March 31, 2024.

The penalty was issued by the SEC's Markets and Securities Regulation Department in a decision dated June 5, 2024.

In its disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the local unit of the global petroleum giant said it will “immediately comply” with the SEC's decision and take steps to prevent future delays.
