Gov’t allocates ₱18B to expand ₱20 rice program
The Marcos administration has earmarked ₱18 billion to expand its “Benteng Bigas, Meron Na!” initiative, aiming to provide affordable rice at ₱20 per kilo to as many as 60 million Filipinos, Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. said on Tuesday, July 29.
