A celebration of French gastronomy, the event is hosted by Ayala Land, Taste of France, and the Embassy of France to the Philippines and Micronesia, in partnership with Enderun Colleges’ École Ducasse and Le Cordon Bleu Ateneo de Manila.
Authentic French flavors
Expect an immersive French experience as chefs, restaurateurs, wine distributors, and gourmet retailers gather to bring authentic French flavors to Filipino food lovers. From the first sip of chilled rosé under a tree-lined street to a bite of perfectly folded crêpes, the event promises to whisk guests away to the streets of Paris.
Highlights include a free live cooking demo on Saturday, May 24 by Chef Marc Chalopin of Enderun Colleges, followed by an evening DJ set by JB Bolaños to infuse energy and rhythm into the night.
Traditional Waiter's Race
On Sunday, May 25 at 3PM, don't miss the traditional Course des garçons de café or Waiter's Race—a spirited competition that tests café servers’ agility as they race while balancing a tray with a bottle of Evian.
Guests are also encouraged to explore the French market, where fresh baked goods, fine cheeses, charcuterie, and wines await. Accordion music and the ambiance of a Parisian street will complete the transportive experience.
Celebrating culture through cuisine
Following the weekend celebration, diners can enjoy special French menus at participating bistros and restaurants nationwide. A full list of these establishments can be found on the Embassy of France’s official Facebook page: facebook.com/FrenchEmbassyPH.
