DTI rolls out Philippine creative industries website to empower local creatives

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has launched a dedicated website to support and empower the Philippine creative industries.

Unveiled during the opening ceremony of Philippine Creative Industries Month (PCIM) 2024 on Sept. 3, the platform aims to connect, educate, and elevate creatives across the country.

Trade Assistant Secretary Leonila T. Baluyut, representing DTI-Competitiveness and Innovation Group Undersecretary Rafaelita Aldaba, said the launch of the website was a significant step toward positioning the creative sector as a key driver of economic growth and cultural development.

Accessible at philippinecreativeindustries.com, the website provides a wide range of resources, including networking tools, educational materials, and funding opportunities. It also features a calendar of events, job boards, and updates on government programs aimed at supporting creative professionals.
