This milestone elevates the Philippines' standing in the regional golf scene, beating elite clubs such as: Hoiana Shores Golf Club in Vietnam (No. 16) and Sentosa Golf Club Serapong Course in Singapore (No. 17)
Only three Philippine courses made the Top 100 list, with Anvaya Cove far ahead of the others, ranked 87th and 94th.
“Out of nearly 7,000 golf courses in Asia, only three from the Philippines made the list — and Anvaya Cove leads the way,” said Jose Dagdagan, general manager of Ayala Land Premier Clubs.
The big picture:
The award was personally presented by Jung-Tae Kim, chair of the Top 100 Golf Courses Asia Panel of Raters, to executives from Ayala Land Premier and Anvaya Cove, including: Raymond Bunquin, GM of Anvaya Cove Golf & Sports Club Kristine Grace Apale-Zaide, senior project development division manager, and Joshua Zacarias de Jesus, project development division manager.
