Each shared insights on growing their respective enterprises and managing the generational handover of business leadership.
“Through our UBS Women and Finance dialogue sessions, we continue to discuss the key themes that are pertinent to female leaders of today,” said Robby Go, country head of UBS Philippines. “Our guest speakers today are not only successful businesswomen and trailblazers, they have also built a strategy of transitioning their business to the next generation.”
Launched in 2023, the UBS Women and Finance initiative has since drawn over 100 female CEOs, corporate leaders, and entrepreneurs in the Philippines. Discussions have ranged from the evolving role of women in finance to building effective teams, increasing financial literacy, and achieving financial independence for women.
The event highlighted the growing influence of women as a critical economic force. UBS officials emphasized the importance of cultivating an ecosystem to support emerging female leaders, especially in a country with a high rate of women-led enterprises.
Among the notable past speakers of the series are Ayala Land Inc. CEO Anna Ma. Margarita Dy, Hotel101 Global CEO Marianna Yulo, Focus Global CFO Angela Sy, GCash chief strategy officer Rowie Zamora; Ana Lorenzana De Ocampo, president and CEO of Wildflour Group; and Converge ICT president Grace Uy.
More than 50 women leaders participated in the fourth edition of the forum, reinforcing UBS’s commitment to advancing gender diversity in finance and business.
