The EDSA Busway is enhancing security and accessibility, especially for the elderly and persons with disabilities, with new stations featuring footbridges, elevators, and CCTV cameras.
Stations at Monumento, Bagong Barrio, Balintawak, Philam, and Guadalupe are being upgraded.
A total of 166 CCTV cameras will boost operational capability and monitor rule violators.
Transportation Secretary Jaime J. Bautista announced plans to extend these improvements to all 18 busway stations.
