The case, currently ongoing at the Makati Regional Trial Court, follows a default ruling against Bodanio after she failed to respond to the complaint.
It comes after Bodiano’s employment was terminated by the company last March .
BHI is now presenting its evidence, which is expected to be finalized by the end of this year or early next year.
“BHI’s claims against the adverse party are supported by sufficient factual and legal bases. In the premises, such claims may be reasonably expected to be upheld against the defaulted defendant,” the company said in a stock exchange filing on Friday.
“It must be noted that the company was immediately reimbursed for the aforestated amount of money by Mr. Jose Marcel Panlilio,” it added.
Panlilio is the chair, president and CEO of Boulevard Holdings.
Bodiano was appointed head of finance and chief corporate information officer of Boulevard Holdings in 2019.
