Margarita is a multi-faceted writer having published articles across newspaper sections and different print publications, from food to socials, to parenting, lifestyle, travel, and socio-economic issues.

She has also been published in books on leadership, public relations, culture, and diplomacy both in the Philippines and in Singapore, where she is based.

Deeply committed to the overseas Filipino diaspora, being one for almost two decades, Margarita co-founded the Philippine Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, sits as adviser in international boards, and has worked in several industries throughout her career including banking, equities, mining and publishing in the Philippines, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
