The Aboitiz Group’s social development arm has partnered with Innodata Knowledge Services to open concrete AI job opportunities for Filipino women trained under its Elevate AIDA program, tightening the link between digital skills and actual income.
At the core is a simple shift: Don’t just teach skills—secure where those skills go next.
“Innodata’s support and engagement will significantly advance our shared goal of empowering women through digital upskilling and access to meaningful employment,” said Ginggay Hontiveros-Malvar, president of Aboitiz Foundation. “This is about creating a clear and sustainable path from learning to earning.”
Elevate AIDA trains women in data annotation, the behind-the-scenes work that powers AI systems—from search engines to e-commerce recommendations. Its flexible, hybrid format allows participants to learn without stepping away from home responsibilities, according to a company release.

For years, digital training programs have struggled with one question: what happens after graduation? This partnership answers that directly by embedding employment into the model—something increasingly critical as AI demand surges globally.

Innodata will tap into Elevate AIDA graduates for AI-related work while helping refine the training itself, ensuring it stays relevant to fast-changing industry needs.
The program has already reached communities from Ifugao to Basilan, with a long-term ambition to train 300,000 women. Connected Women, its implementing partner, continues to guide participants from onboarding to job readiness.
“This partnership aligns with our commitment to inclusive growth while strengthening our talent pipeline in the AI space,” said Jemima Villa, Country Head of Innodata.

Aboitiz Foundation is gearing up for AIDA+, expanding into roles like virtual assistance, data analysis, and digital content creation—areas with higher earning potential.
