This year’s theme, “Unmuted: Live, Loud, and Limitless PR,” challenges students to push beyond boundaries by harnessing live interactions, digital platforms, and creative storytelling to amplify voices and make impactful campaigns.
“The growing interest in Public Relations among schools is truly inspiring,” said Steve Michael Moore, Student PR Congress chair and PRSP officer. “Initiatives like our PR caravans are vital to our mission of nurturing future PR professionals and showing them how dynamic and impactful this career can be.”
Congress and competition
The Student PR Congress will feature learning sessions on shifting technologies and emerging PR trends, helping students understand how the industry can be a force for positive social impact.
At the heart of the event is the Student PR Grand Prix, a high-stakes competition where student teams nationwide will receive a real campaign brief from a leading organization. Participants must craft a comprehensive PR strategy and pitch their ideas to a panel of award-winning industry leaders.
Judging will focus on research quality, creativity, feasibility, clear metrics, and pitch execution. Winners will receive the coveted Grand Prix title, recognition from respected PR professionals, and opportunities for cash prizes and professional exposure.
Dates and venue
The Student PR Congress and Grand Prix will be held on Nov. 6–7, 2025, at De La Salle–College of St. Benilde, Manila, bringing together students, academics, and industry veterans for two days of inspiration, competition, and networking. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
