The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by JTI general manager John Freda, with key company executives and special guest Senator Mark Villar in attendance.
Located in Almanza Uno, Las Piñas City, this new branch is now JTI’s largest in the Greater Manila Area, employing 134 staff members as part of the company’s 5,500-strong Philippine workforce.
The branch is the first to implement JTI’s comprehensive branch plan, designed to streamline operations and enhance working conditions, reflecting the company’s dedication to quality and excellence.
JTI plans to upgrade its 38 branches nationwide following this model, aiming to better serve both customers and employees.
The firm said this development reflects its efforts to strengthen its presence and operational efficiency in the Philippines.
