Former ABS-CBN Corp. CEO and actress Maria Rosario Navarro "Charo" Santos-Concio was appointed director of the media giant on May 30 this year, a stock exchange filing on Thursday showed.
She fills the vacancy left by the passing of Atty. Augusto Almeda-Lopez.
Santos-Concio was the president and CEO of ABS-CBN from 2013 to 2015. She also held the positions of chief content officer, president of ABS-CBN University and executive advisor.
She graduated cum laude from St. Paul’s College and completed the advanced management program at Harvard Business School.
