Philippine information and communications technology firm AMTI recently announced a business strategy shift centered on generative artificial intelligence during its recent relaunch.

The milestone occasion, titled “Leading the Change, Sparks Unleashed: The Launch of the New AMTI,” was held last month at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Taguig City.

It gathered over 150 IT professionals and 100 C-level executives to showcase AMTI’s renewed focus on AI and cybersecurity, along with other cutting-edge technologies.

In breakout sessions on generative AI and cybersecurity, industry experts from AMTI’s partner companies shared insights into how businesses can address challenges in an increasingly complex digital landscape.

These discussions provided valuable guidance for attendees on optimizing operations and safeguarding enterprises against emerging threats.

AMTI president and CEO Allyxon Cua reflected on the company’s remarkable journey over the past 28 years.

“It’s hard to believe that 28 years ago, AMTI began as a modest IT company with a single brand focused on selling desktops to enterprise customers,” he said. “Today, we count about 12 pillars of products, technologies, solutions, and services, serving thousands of customers across various industries.”

“Our journey was fueled by a vision of helping Filipinos and organizations harness technology to improve business outcomes and fuel growth,” he added.

Executive vice president for technology, sales and marketing Josefino Paloma emphasized AMTI’s commitment to remaining ahead of the curve.

“We all know today’s world is increasingly driven by artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. AMTI is positioning itself as a leader in these domains,” he said, underscoring the significance of this transformation.

Stanley Yu, executive vice president for digital transformation and operations, highlighted AMTI’s investments in AI and cybersecurity.

“Our vision for the future is anchored in integrating AI and enhanced cybersecurity measures in all our offerings,” he said. “The past few years have shown us the critical importance of securing our customers’ applications and environments.”

The relaunch emphasizes AMTI’s commitment to reshaping its product and service portfolios, ensuring businesses remain resilient and competitive.

With its approach, AMTI said is not only adapting to technological advancements but positioning itself as a leader in empowering businesses through innovative solutions.

The renewed focus on generative AI and cybersecurity reflects the firm’s focus on addressing the evolving needs of its clients in a dynamic digital economy, it added.
